NCB (National Central Bank)

Participating euro area national central banks, acting as the eurosystem’s local counterpart for each pilot-psp.

Role in the pilot

Pilot PSPs enter into a Participation Agreement with an NCB (not directly with the ECB) after being selected — see selection-and-participation-process.
Validates pilot PSP reference data during onboarding and configures DESP DCA access for each environment (testing/production).
Supports national-level feedback collection and coordinates national communications alongside communication-guidelines.
Designates the entity to which pilot PSPs transmit feedback/data.
