DCA (Dedicated Cash Account)
A DESP dedicated cash account that a pilot PSP funds its production activities through —
either opened in its own name, or accessed indirectly via another pilot PSP acting on its
behalf (see W.1 questions in src-call-annex-2-rbi-application for how this choice is
evaluated during selection).
Required for beta digital euro funding/defunding to be operational: by the start of the pilot operational phase, the pilot PSP’s production activities must be fundable through a DCA in each relevant environment (testing and production) — configured by the participating ncb during onboarding.
