Communication guidelines (for pilot PSPs)

Rules governing how a pilot-psp (and its subcontracted technical service providers) may talk about pilot participation, internally and externally.

Core principles

Confidential, accurate/factual, non-speculative/non-forward-looking, neutral (no implied Eurosystem endorsement).

May do

State participation; describe role/activities at a general level; reference/amplify official Eurosystem publications (non-Eurosystem sources need prior authorisation).

Must not do

Brand pilot outputs as the PSP’s own; imply knowledge of Eurosystem decisions/timelines/ endorsements; use participation as marketing/endorsement-by-implication; disclose operational/technical/implementation detail beyond public documentation; disclose confidential information.

Practical implication

This is why source documents like src-call-annex-2-rbi-application — which contain a PSP’s actual implementation plans and technical posture — are handled as confidential in this wiki rather than treated as publicly shareable.
