Individual end user / Business end user
The two end-user types in the pilot, each served by a different pilot-psp role.
Individual end user
A consumer onboarded by a distributing PSP. Gets a dean, can optionally register an alias (phone number), funds/defunds their beta digital euro balance, and makes P2P/ P2B payments (online or offline). Authentication depends on channel — see src-functional-requirements §1.3.
Business end user
A merchant onboarded by an acquiring PSP for acceptance of beta digital euro. No alias
support (FUR.15 — business end users cannot use an alias as an identification method).
Handles waterfall funding, refunds, SoftPOS/e-commerce acceptance.
